Craft begins with the material.
Feiyuehui Atelier follows the decisions, gestures and disciplines through which natural jadeite becomes a finished jewel.
From hand-knotting and setting to goldwork, polishing and final adjustment, each process responds to the jadeite itself — its form, proportion, structure, volume and intended way of being worn.
The objective is not to impose a design upon the material.
It is to complete the work without losing sight of what made the jadeite worth selecting in the first place.
